Prophecy
hus saith the Lord; Is it not written, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God? The same was in the beginning with God? Am I not the Word which came to thee? Am I not the Word that even appeared onto Abraham saying, Fear not, I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. And before Abraham was, I Am.
Have I not said by my Word shall all my people be ruled? Behold, my Word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that you may do it. By my Word I shall reveal myself to thee and I will be with thee; and with thee I will let none of my Words fall to the ground. Yes, I will perform my Word with thee and I will dwell among my children and I will not forsake my people.
For My Word are pure Words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. My Word is very pure and my way is perfect: the Word of the Lord is tried: I am a buckler to all those that trust in Me. All things were made by me; and without me was not any thing made that was made. By my Word were the heavens made; and all the hosts of them by the breath of my mouth. The entrance of my Word gives light and understanding for my Word is right; and all my works are done in truth.
I gave you the Word: great was the company of those that published it. Add thou not unto my Words, lest I reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. For my Word is true from the beginning: and every one of my righteous judgments endure forever.
To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the Word of the Lord is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it. Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying: I have dreamed! I have dreamed! How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? Yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my Words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
Whom shall I teach knowledge? and whom shall I make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will I speak to this people. To whom I said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But my Word was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
But I have put my Words in thy mouth. I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. For I will hasten my Word to perform it.
Is not my Word like a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? Because ye speak this Word, behold, I will make my Words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them. Again also in that day shall the deaf hear the Words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
And therefore shall a man not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. And ye shall speak a Word only and heal those that were sick, and ye will cast out spirits with my Word.
But be ye therefore receivers of the seed into the good ground when ye hear my Word, and understand it; which also bare fruit, and bring forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. The Words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. If ye continue in my Word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. For I AM come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. In me is life; and the life is the light of men.
And if any man hear my Words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that reject me, and receive not my Words, has one that judge him: the Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the Word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. He that love me not keep not my sayings.
But my Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the Word of faith. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The Word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left.
So let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the Word and doctrine. And let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Be ye then doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the Word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forget what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continue therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed, being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abide and endure forever.
Always put into remeberance that I know thy works: and behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my Word, and hast not denied my name. If thou keep the Word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Now you are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you, I Am the Word saith the Lord. AMEN.
